CBD and Pain Relief

CBD and Pain Relief

CBD is an amazing healing option for pain relief. Whenever I speak to a customer about their pain — I tell them that pain is the “Trifecta of Suffering.” First, when you have acute or chronic pain, whether it be knee, neck, low back, etc., you do not feel your best. Second, when you are in pain it ratchets up your level of stress and anxiety because your shoulders and chest are tense, you may not be breathing deeply, and you are constantly thinking that you want to be out of pain. And, the third part is that when you have big pain, it may be difficult for you to find a comfortable position to sleep and so now, you are also battling insomnia.

It is a lot to deal with. Sometimes the pain stems from an injury, overuse, repetitive motion, or a degenerative condition such as arthritis. The best part about the healing properties of CBD is that may be able to significantly reduce the systemic inflammation that is underlying that pain as it works through your Endocannabinoid System. Truly, inflammation is the cause of most dis-ease in our bodies. Tamping that down or even erasing it altogether is what we want you to experience.

Taking a CBD tincture, capsule, or edible is going to help work on reducing pain and bringing relief everywhere in your body. It is a personal preference as to which delivery system you want to use. However, there are times when for some customers taking a tincture is the answer and for other customers, a capsule or gel cap may work better. Depending on how well you respond to a product will determine whether it is the right product for you.

Trial & Error Questions:

*Is the potency enough to address the pain?

*Are you taking the product once or twice a day?

*Have you given the product enough time to work?

*Do I need to also do a CBD topical to offer relief in specific areas?

Once you have answered these questions then you are on the road to less pain and better health. Your shoulders may drop down and that grimace on your face may disappear. It is always our goal to work with customers to tailor what they take to how they respond to each product they try.

There is no single CBD/THC product that works effectively, on pain relief, for all people. You can call us for a consult or come into the store and try a sample or two to see what kind of response it creates for you. We are happy to be on your CBD/THC adventure with you and get you feeling your best!

CBD & Anxiety Relief

CBD & Anxiety Relief

Call it stress or call it anxiety — the feelings are similar and we all want relief. Tension in your neck and shoulders, a feeling of a weight on your chest, possible rapid heart rate, feeling overwhelmed and unable to move in any direction, and fatigue from battling all the negative feelings. Anxiety can come out in so many different ways.

Manifested health conditions when you are stressed:

  • Headaches
  • Stomach aches
  • Rashes
  • Substance abuse
  • Insomnia

As we enter into the holiday season, you may be feeling hopeful and ready for family gatherings. Or, you may be filled with apprehension and fear about being around a lot of people or dealing with shopping and crowds. It is a very intense time and each of us handles stress in different ways. Some have a self-care routine that they practice daily which helps sustain them through troubled times. While some use addictive substances — prescription and non-prescription. But others simply flail around wishing the anxiety would go away.

The Relation between CBD and Anxiety Relief

The truth is that CBD and CBG are excellent options for dealing with stress and anxiety relief. Cannabinoids are non-addictive and non-steroidal. You may take CBD daily and not fear that you will become “hooked” on something that down the road will be difficult to stop. Because you have an Endocannabinoid System (ECS), your body and mind are built to absorb the cannabinoids that then stimulate your receptors to make your body’s own cannabinoids. It is a beautiful opportunity for you to help your body, mind, and spirit get in balance by using CBD/CBG daily.

Cannabinoids come in a wide variety of formulations and delivery systems. You get to choose whether you take a tincture, capsule, edible, or vape. And, we at CBD Jubilee know how to find excellent companies that manufacture clean and effective products. Comparing brands will not necessarily get you where you want to go. That is why we love when customers check out the website, call us with questions, and come into the store and try samples. We work very hard to get you where you want to go — out of pain and out of anxiety. While also reducing your systemic inflammation, and sleeping deeply through the night.

Conclusion

While living in the world today is not easy — you are not on this journey alone. Extreme weather, pandemics, financial stress, and more weigh heavily on all of our minds. That translates into trouble. We urge you to make CBD — and other cannabinoids — a part of your self-care routine and a part of your overall quest for wellness and peace of mind. Moving forward with confidence that you can handle what comes at you each day is what CBD may be able to do for you. Go ahead and check out our Google reviews to see what our customers are saying. Calm and pain free is the goal and cannabinoids are the answer to achieving it!

The Benefits of Terpenes in the Hemp Plant

The Benefits of Terpenes in the Hemp Plant

Hemp and cannabis plants have several kinds of compounds including, flavonoids, phytochemicals, and terpenes. Terpenes are the aromatic, essential oil part of these plants. There are over 100 different kinds of terpenes and each one has its own particular qualities and benefits. However, all terpenes appear to have the following properties in common.

Terpene Attributes
  • Anti-Oxidant effects.
  • Add to the aroma and taste of the flower, tincture, and gummies.
  • May increase the efficacy of a particular strain or product as they work synergistically with cannabinoids.
  • Interact with your CB1 and CB2 receptors to help activate your Endocannabinoid System.

Most of us know which cannabinoids are present in the products we use. For example, if you are seeking help with insomnia, you would want to have a product that has both CBD and CBN (cannabinol). Adding terpenes that have more sedative properties will also assist those cannabinoids in working to help you get a great night’s sleep. Some terpenes give energy and are combined in a formula that helps keep you uplifted.

Are there Terpenes in my product?

When you buy Isolate CBD there are no other cannabinoids or terpenes. When you have Broad-Spectrum CBD there are at least two different cannabinoids and several terpenes. Or, when you take Full-Spectrum CBD you are getting the total plant experience. Terpenes do not have psychoactive properties whether they come from cannabis or hemp. Truly, terpenes are simply a valuable part of the plant and bring extra benefits to all formulations.

Certain plants are grown to have specific terpene profiles giving them a particular flavor. Many times it is how the plant is named depending on the smell and taste it offers. Indica and Sativa strains are describing the cannabinoids that are present but terpenes do not fall under those two categories.

Some of the more widely found terpenes are Pinene, Humulene, Caryophyllene, Limonene, Myrcene, and Linalool. There are numerous others that are either not as common or even quite rare in hemp. Like a Vitamin B supplement, the whole complex of possible ingredients works best when they are present together. The wide variety of cannabinoids and terpenes means that there are endless combinations of the two. The world of both hemp and cannabis is greatly enriched by all the possible options for consumers.

Lucky us to have so many wonderful choices.

Fall Into A Place of Calm & Clarity

Fall Into A Place of Calm & Clarity

We are living in very stressful times. So much is changing so fast and we all need a place of calm and clarity. Our societal norms, our weather patterns, our technology, our families, our work lives, and our relationships with friends and coworkers are all in flux. It is a lot to take on. If these issues are stressing you out or overwhelming your ability to function well — then CBD may be an excellent option for you.

There is a way to walk through your day feeling calmer, grounded, and focused. CBD and other cannabinoids are amazing at helping clear out those cobwebs and help you lighten your load. Instead of repeating thoughts, biting your nails, or self-medicating with bad food or bad drugs, you can try CBD and let it work for you. CBD works on your Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to get you into a state of balance. It does this without causing negative side effects and without addictive properties.

CBD stimulates your ECS to fire up receptors in your brain and body and make your own cannabinoids. Those cannabinoids impact every system in your body that is stressed. That stress is what can cause so many health challenges. Whether it be emotional or physical, even a little bit of stress can increase the intensity of any issue. If you feel just a bit anxious when you wake up in the morning, imagine how you will feel after a tense day at work. It is likely to be worse.

With CBD/CBG/CBC, you can nip that anxiety in its earliest stages before you head down the road toward a possible headache, stomach ache, or panic attack. The beauty of CBD, in its many formulations, is that it works relatively quickly and it may help you let go of those stressful feelings and reach a place of calm and clarity. Cluttering up your head with worry prevents you from functioning at your best. So, letting CBD clear out your head and body from anxiety, helps you move through your day with ease.

There are lots of non-pharmaceutical options to consider. You can do yoga, meditation, exercise, and enjoy nature. All of those options are good for your overall well-being. And, you may still need to take a supplement such as CBD. Many times a multi-pronged approach to good health is the way to go. There is not really a single practice or supplement that works for all people all of the time. It is good to explore the many possibilities and consider examining your lifestyle choices, your diet, and what kinds of supplements you take. Getting the right combination for you is most important. No single solution exists for all, but we can all reach a place of calm and clarity.

Here is a great opportunity, as we change the season, to make positive changes for yourself. Go ahead and leap into a beautiful fall season with some CBD!

Breast Cancer Flatties: We Flat Out Love Them

Breast cancer is the most common cancer for women in the U.S. One out of every eight persons is at risk for this kind of cancer. That is a staggering statistic. Put ten women in a room and it is likely that one or more will find out they have breast cancer during their life. Most of us know someone, or several people, who have some kind of cancer. Breast cancer is a very difficult and many times devastating diagnosis. Thousands of women, known as “Flatties”, get breast cancer each year and choose not to have reconstruction surgery.

Breast reconstruction or not?

Western medicine has come a long way in treating breast cancer with surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, drugs, and radiation. There are also a number of non-traditional modalities such as acupuncture, meditation, reiki, and massage therapy that help when one is going through treatment. Some women opt for reconstructive surgery while a number of women do not. They are known as “Flatties” because they no longer have breasts after a mastectomy.

Sometimes when a woman has one or both breasts removed and decides to do the reconstructive procedures with implants — there are significant complications. Surgery is always a risk and the implants may leak. This can lead to all kinds of health issues and delay one’s ability to get back to a healthier place. There is a name for this, Breast Implant Illness (BII) and there are a number of people with implants that now have multiple sclerosis, lupus, and other auto-immune conditions.

Flatties need not worry about surgery or implants which for many, is a big relief. Finishing up treatment and moving forward is an option that more and more breast cancer thrivers are choosing. There are Flatties all over the U.S. and all over the world. This October 8th, 2022 in Mesa, Colorado will be the largest gathering of Flatties ever called, Flat Out on Flat Top. You may check it out on the Flat Out Love Facebook page or Flat Out Love on Instagram. It is very exciting and CBD Jubilee is happy to be one of the sponsors of this big meet up. This event was created by our own Lissa Sears who is incredibly passionate about advocating for those who do not want reconstructive surgery.

Flat Out on Flat Top:

Lissa says, “On Oct 21, 1998, federal law required that most group insurance plans cover breast reconstruction. Prior to that, after a mastectomy, most women went Flat because doctors weren’t pushing reconstruction like they are today. Many times doctors won’t even offer Flat as an option. It is possible that they make more money for more surgery but they also do it because their image of a woman is one who is supposed to have breasts. Then there are others that leave extra skin because “You may change your mind” as one doctor said to a fellow activist as she was restating in the operating room that she wanted to go “Flat.”

Lissa works with Flatties everywhere to help them overcome body image challenges after breast cancer. She also wants them to know they are supported by so many others who have opted out of reconstruction. According to Lissa, “A lot of people are not like me and they can’t even look at themselves in the mirror without their breasts. It breaks my heart and it is the reason I do Flattie activism work because with or without breasts you sometimes just need a little help from people who are on a similar journey and need that extra encouragement.” Some women have reconstructive surgery and down the road develop BII. They then have to remove those implants and become a Flattie.

Flatties deserve the support:

We want to support women on their health and wellness journey. We want Flatties to know that there are terrific, non-medication, non-surgical options for dealing with lingering side effects such as systemic inflammation and pain. Insomnia and auto-immune troubles can persist. CBD is such a great supplement that may help calm down that inflammation and reduce one’s pain. It can also assist in keeping tough symptoms at bay. We work with many individuals who have had all kinds of cancer and are seeking alternatives to pharmaceuticals. Sometimes, customers use both traditional and non-traditional options.

We honor all the Flatties who have taken their health into their own hands and are striving to feel their best. Supporting you on your journey is what we want to do. Join us in celebrating International Flat Day on October 7th or join the gathering on October 8th in Mesa, Colorado!

CBD for Daytime or Nighttime: An Educated Opinion

CBD for Daytime or Nighttime: An Educated Opinion

The beauty of the hemp plant has multiple cannabinoids and terpenes that are a combination of all kinds of interesting formulations and delivery systems.  The two major cannabinoids are CBD and THC — and then there are numerous cannabinoids such as CBG, CBDa, CBN, Delta-8 THC, CBC and so many more. Each of these cannabinoids is working on your Endocannabinoid System (ECS) however, each one may have different healing properties. Depending on the cannabinoid you take, whether it is CBD, CBN, or another one, the effects can be different during the daytime or the nighttime.

CBG for Daytime:

For example, CBG/cannabigerol is my true favorite cannabinoid. It is excellent for helping to clear out one’s head and find a place of calm. When it is needed, it can also help to reduce one’s level of pain. The beauty of CBG is that it does not tend to make people sleepy. Therefore, it is great for daytime use. In combination with CBD — it may also be taken during the day or night.

CBN for Nighttime:

Then there is CBN/cannabinol which seems to have more sedative properties. Thus, it is a great cannabinoid to help one get to sleep and stay asleep through the night. It can be ingested by itself or in combination with CBD or herbs that also assist in getting a good night’s rest. It is not something you would want to use in the daytime.

All of these cannabinoids may be taken as a tincture, a gummy, a vape, a capsule, or in a beverage. That is what makes the world of CBD/hemp so interesting as there is such a wide variety of options. Vaping acts very fast but does not have as much of a long-lasting positive impact as a tincture or an edible. Each person has to figure out what delivery system works best for them. Some people will take a tincture in the morning and an edible at night.

CBD helps in all sorts of situations during the daytime and nighttime. Working with someone who is knowledgeable about the many different kinds of hemp products is key. We want you to feel more than fine — maybe even fabulous!

CBD In Your Self Care Daily Practices

CBD In Your Self Care Daily Practices

In the world of health and wellness, there are so many opportunities for daily self-care including CBD. Just getting out of bed in the morning and taking a moment to be grateful for the good things in your life, is a wonderful way to take care of yourself. Eating well, drinking clean water, and getting a full night of deep sleep are also all part of self-care. Managing your day in a way that is not exacerbating the stress that you may be feeling at home, at work, or just out there in this very busy world is also a huge part of feeling your best.

Maybe you exercise daily and make time for meditation or deep breathing. Maybe you get regular massages or have a holistic practitioner that does Reiki, cranial-sacral work, or Myofascial Release. All of these practices may be essential to your overall sense of well-being. However, all of these things may not be able to keep you as calm as you want or reduce that systemic inflammation that has been causing you health issues.

This is where CBD becomes an important supplement for you to consider when assessing your daily self-care practices. Unlike a multi-vitamin or fish oil, CBD is working on a system that you have in your body. This system is called the Endocannabinoid System or ECS. Unlike other supplements or medications, CBD in its many different formulations is truly working on your whole body and mind. Because of your ECS, your body’s CB1 and CB2 receptors get fired up to make your body’s own endogenous cannabinoids. Yes, it is a bit of a tongue twister. Most important is that the overall goal of an ECS is to get your body into homeostasis or balance.

For self-care, each system in your body, whether stressed or inflamed, will benefit from CBD and other cannabinoids you intake. Those cannabinoids are working to support your ECS and thus help you to feel well. When someone walks in the store and says, “What do you have for anxiety?” we say everything! This is because CBD is not just working on symptoms but is working on our Endocannabinoid System.

It is also most important to choose your CBD products wisely. To do that, you want to buy from companies that choose excellent, high-quality ingredients such as WYLD CBD, Life Elements, and VIIA Hemp. These companies are a few of the amazing companies that we carry to ensure that our customers are purchasing products that are well-made and make a positive impact.

Taking care of yourself does involve commitment and consistency. Taking CBD products every day makes a huge difference in how well they work on your body and mind. Using CBD as a daily self-care practice has many rewarding aspects. Instead of spending time worrying and not feeling well, you are able to walk through your day with ease which is what we all want. Less stress, fewer health challenges, and that lovely feeling you have when you are able to simply enjoy each day to the fullest. Rock on with CBD!

Deciding the Best CBD Product for You

Deciding the Best CBD Product for You

Can you determine what the best CBD product is for you? I have said it before and I will say it again, “There is no single product that works for all people.” That is impossible whether you are talking about over-the-counter medications, prescription drugs, or any kind of supplement including CBD. Each manufacturer formulates its hemp-derived CBD differently. Some process plants by heating and some process using an ethanol wash while other companies infuse a carrier oil. With isolate, broad-spectrum, and full spectrum options as well as the many different terpenes — what you buy is unique to that brand.

So how does one decide on the best CBD product for them? First, look at the reviews for each company and see how they create their products. Then, you need to read the ingredients to be certain that there are no fillers, additives, unneeded chemicals, etc. We want you to put healthy products into your body because CBD works on your Endocannabinoid System to create balance. There is no need for ingredients that do not serve your body well.

Next, one needs to decide which delivery system is best for you: liquid, capsule, gummy, or topical. Some people have no interest in gummies or have difficulty taking pills. It is very important to choose products that you are comfortable with and that you will consistently take daily. There is no point in purchasing a product that you do not really like. It is a waste of money and will not do you any good sitting unopened or unused on your counter.

Your health is priority number one and working with individuals and stores that offer you a wide variety of high-quality CBD products is imperative. We all want products that make a positive impact on our health but deciding what is the best CBD product for you, is difficult. If you try something for a few weeks and do not notice any positive benefits then you may want to try something different. Sometimes the potency is too low or you are not taking the product often enough. Sometimes you simply have not taken the product long enough. All of these are possibilities. However, starting with an excellent product or two makes all the difference in the world. Check out our website and see a wonderful array of impactful CBD products to meet everyone’s needs.

Students & Teachers & Stress, Oh My!

Students & Teachers & Stress, Oh My!

Hello! Jeremiah here from Team CBD Jubilee. 🙂

In 2017, I finished my Bachelor’s degree, moved to Indianapolis, and began teaching kindergarten- 7th-grade computer science. I had never taught in a classroom, but I had worked in various youth organizations around the country. I didn’t major in computer science, on the contrary, I was an English major and book nerd. However, my time serving in the U.S. Air Force working in Cyber Operations spoke for my computer skills. So, the school agreed to hire me on an emergency waiver. In my naivety, I thought that my experiences might prepare me for the task at hand. I was incorrect.

No amount of student teaching experience can prepare one for the hilarity of kindergarteners, or the mood swings of middle schoolers. Ultimately, I lasted two years in the classroom before realizing I was ready for a different path. My time as a teacher probably taught me more than I was able to teach my students. Between the brief glimpse I got into an education career, and the fact that my partner is a high school administrator, I’ve garnered some insights into the pressures and mental/emotional health issues that our students and teachers face. For the record, I will not be speaking to students who are younger than 18, that’s for a parent and guardian to decide with the help of a family doctor. But, I will speak to the “student/teacher experience” in general terms.

Teachers rarely sleep. Teachers don’t get normal lunch breaks. Teachers usually work over their annual (fall, holiday, spring, summer) “breaks”. Teachers spend all day in the classroom with our children and then spend their evenings grading homework and preparing for the next day’s lessons. It’s a never-ending cycle that is physically, mentally, and emotionally draining, not to mention the financial stress of being dramatically undervalued and underpaid. In today’s classrooms, many teachers are operating as social workers, mentors, and educators, thus there’s a certain degree of emotional baggage they process or release before coming home. Every aspect of this profession requires intentional steps to maintain balance in the other areas of life. And if the teacher’s role has become more difficult in the capitalist-driven era of 2021, you know the role of “student” has become more challenging as well.

Anyone who has spent time in the classroom knows that the workload is rarely small. Stress and anxiety over assignments and exams can be debilitating. Carrying a backpack, bending over a computer, or sitting at a desk for hours a day can cause excruciating pain and discomfort. For those working on their thesis or upper-level projects, the ability to focus on a single task while your to-do-list continues to grow is a real struggle. And who among us kept normal adult sleeping hours in college? Enter the litany of issues we’ve already mentioned — enter CBD.

CBD is known for helping with anxiety, pain, and sleeplessness. However, other powerful cannabinoids serve other purposes. CBC may help with focus. CBG may calm anxiety, and allow you to be present and alert (and won’t make you sleepy). CBN, on the other hand, may help you find deep restorative sleep… The list goes on! These cannabinoids feed your Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and allow your body to do its reparative work naturally. When you take these supplements, you’re feeding your body something it makes naturally: cannabinoids. At CBD Jubilee, we’ve carefully curated products featuring all of these cannabinoids to help students and teachers alike find more joy and productivity in learning. Overcome pain, stress, lack of focus, and exhaustion with these products today and learn how much easier your experience in school can become.

Students and teachers from around the country are joining in the chorus of those singing CBD’s praise. Nearly 50% of New York college students reported using CBD to help cope with student life in a recent study. And this phenomenon isn’t isolated to the east coast. It is happening across the globe as more students learn about the benefits, as discussed in this article. As the stigma and ignorance around hemp and cannabis products slowly recede from mainstream American culture, CBD will continue to take center stage as a safe, daily supplement, perfect for students and teachers alike.

If you know a student or education professional who may need help focusing, sleeping, relaxing, or de-stressing, point them towards CBD; or better yet, send them to CBD Jubilee! There’s no virtue in suffering and suffering itself serves as a distraction from the knowledge that students are supposed to be learning. It IS possible to find balance in life, even for students and teachers. It IS possible to have a focused and alert mind and to feel relief and peace in your body. It’s simply a matter of educating our educators on the benefits of CBD.

Isolate, Broad-Spectrum, & Full Spectrum CBD Products

Isolate, Broad-Spectrum, & Full Spectrum CBD Products

There is a huge variety of CBD products available to consumers. Not only does CBD come in numerous delivery systems — vapes, tinctures, gummies, topicals, edibles, flower and more — but it also comes in three main categories: Isolate, Broad-Spectrum & Full-Spectrum. All CBD products work on your Endocannabinoid System to help get your body back in balance whether you are battling anxiety, depression, insomnia, or pain.

Isolate CBD is exactly what it sounds like. Isolated CBD with no other cannabinoids and no terpenes, flavanoids, or any additional hemp plant constituents. Isolate CBD is made into a powder form and then added to oils, gummies, edibles, dog treats, and vapes. Many people have great success using isolate CBD products for their health concerns. However, you are not getting all the benefits of the plant.

Broad-Spectrum products have the major cannabinoid of CBD and a number of minor cannabinoids (e.g. CBC, CBN, or CBG) but there is no THC. This means you are able to experience the synergy of the multiple cannabinoids working together. The fact that there is no THC is something that many people prefer.

Full-Spectrum CBD products give you a similar mix of major and minor cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, etc. and you also get a minute amount of THC. The legal limit in states that do not have legal cannabis is less than .3% of Delta-9 THC. This is such a tiny amount of THC that you will not experience any of the psychotropic effects that would likely happen with a larger amount of THC. This is why all 50 states now have legalized CBD.

CBD is an All-Day Supplement

CBD is an All-Day Supplement

When you think about taking any kind of nutritional supplement, you generally have your morning and your evening pills. With CBD, you are feeding your Endocannabinoid System (ECS), and it may need to be fed throughout the day.

It is so great that CBD comes in so many different forms. You may start your day with CBD tea or coffee to give you a little lift without the negative side effects of caffeine. Then as you move forward, you may want to take a nano-spray or a mint that will work quickly and help you stay calm and focused. As the day goes on, you may find yourself starting to feel stressed so you consider another mint, a gummy, or your vape.

As the evening progresses, it is time to help your body wind down and get ready for bed. Now you have that wonderful CBD tincture that will ease you into a quieter state of mind and allow you to get the deep sleep you need. All of these products are helping to tone up your ECS and get your body & mind in balance. No other supplement works in this foundational and healing manner.

CBD products come in so many varieties that every person can find a delivery system (or two) that they like and products that taste the way they want them to taste. The world of CBD is open to everyone because of the high safety profile of ingesting hemp. It is comforting to be able to take a supplement that will support you without causing you negative side effects or psychotropic effects that you don’t want.

Take CBD daily to boost that ECS and to keep yourself on an even keel. It’s a great day when you feel at peace, out of pain, and well-rested.

How are you doing during this Pandemic?

How are you doing during this Pandemic?

Wow. Talk about stressful times! Everybody is sheltering at home and our ability to connect — other than via phone or computer — is greatly compromised. This is difficult for everyone. We are in a time that is unlike anything we have experienced before. We know we need to stay home and stay away from our loved ones and friends and yet, what we crave is physical closeness. We want to be able to share a meal or give each other a hug.

Some people are faring better than others. They’re catching up on cleaning and purging their apartment or house. They’re taking classes online and playing games with family and friends via Zoom or Face Time. For others, it is not so easy.

A pandemic is scary. No disputing that fact. Whether you are exposed, contract a mild case, end up in the hospital on a ventilator or know someone who has — this is frightening to everyone. That means we are living with a great deal of fear, anxiety and depression. All of which can compromise our health.

How about an opportunity to offer your body a supplement that may help you physically, mentally, and emotionally? CBD has the capacity to feed those receptor sites of your Endocannabinoid System that fire up to help you get back in balance. You may need CBD during the day, the night or a little of both. There are so many different delivery systems: liquids, edibles, flower, topicals, coffee and more. Give us a call or check out the website for what products you might like to try. A little CBD can go a long way to helping you feel more like you are on solid ground.

The Beauty of Supplementing with CBD

The Beauty of Supplementing with CBD

We Are Not Doctors. However, we can offer you a lot of information about the many benefits that our customers have found by taking CBD. Whether it is a tincture, gelcap, edible or topical — CBD is working on your Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to fire up that receptor system and help get your body in balance.

What is balance? On one level, it is homeostasis. On another level, it may be how you handle daily stress. Or, it may be less anxiety, less depression, less inflammation, less pain, and better sleep. Each person is different and how they supplement with CBD may not match what works for you. Some people can take CBD at night and it will work on their ECS for a 24-hour period. Some people need to supplement both at night and during the day.

There are no exact protocols with CBD. You are doing your own adjusting and readjusting to find the best product, the right potency, correct dose for you ,and the time it takes for your CBD supplements to get you to your best health.

CBD has endless possibilities in being able to help a wide variety of body, mind and spirit concerns. We love talking to our customers to help them get exactly what they need. Happy customers make our hearts sing.

CBD & Your Immune System

CBD & Your Immune System

CBD can be an essential part of keeping you healthy. How? CBD feeds your Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to get your body into homeostasis also known as balance. If you have anxiety, insomnia, stress, pain, or any kind of inflammation then CBD will help support your ECS.

Your ECS is the key to your best health and a strong immune system. Getting those CB1 & CB2 receptors fired up and making your own endogenous cannabinoids is the name of the game. You do this by supplementing with CBD liquids, gelcaps, edibles, and more. For example, if you have a cough and tightness in your chest — a CBD topical may help loosen things up. Or, if everything is red and inflamed then CBD or CBG will work to give you the relief you need. Or, if you’re struggling to get a good night’s rest because you feel so unwell, then maybe a CBN product will be the answer.

Of course, there are other supplements that are known to be immune boosting, such as: Vitamin D, Vitamin C, probiotics, mushroom formulas, oil of oregano and so many more. Here’s an opportunity to add CBD to whatever regimen you currently follow and get that systemic inflammation down, reduce your anxiety, lessen your pain, and feel stronger and ready to fight whatever germs come your way.

Such a Powerful Plant

Such a Powerful Plant

The hemp plant is amazing. With 113 different cannabinoids and over 200 terpenes (the essential, aromatic oils of the plant) the possibilities for helping support your Endocannabinoid System (ECS) are endless. Each cannabinoid, whether it be CBD, CBC, CBN, CBG, THCA, etc., stimulates your ECS receptors to make more of your own endogenous cannabinoids. Say that three times fast!

Your endogenous cannabinoids have different names than the cannabinoids in the hemp plant. The work they do in your body is profound as they modulate other systems such as your neurological, digestive and endocrine. By taking CBD supplements, you stimulate receptors throughout your brain and body and increase endogenous cannabinoid production. This is key to toning and supporting the ECS.

If CBD hasn’t been working for you then it may be for any of the following reasons: 1)You may not have purchased a high-quality brand with Certificates of Analysis (COA) that show you exactly what you are buying matches what it says on the bottle; 2) You are not taking a high enough potency thus, you are not getting the results you want; 3) You must be consistent in taking your CBD daily just like you would take any other supplement; and, 4) Allowing enough time for your ECS to get “on-line” and function as well as it should is essential as there are no quick fixes.

Depending on your health situation and the length of time you have been struggling may mean that it will take more time for CBD and your ECS to help get your body in balance. CBD works on your body in foundational ways to reduce systemic inflammation and so much more. Feeling good is worth the time, money and commitment because it frees you up to enjoy the rest of your life. Hooray for Hemp!

Why is my CBD product not working for me?

Why is my CBD product not working for me?

The first question I ask all of my customers is, “Have you tried CBD?” When they tell me they have tried it and it really isn’t working for them — then I know it is probably for one of the following reasons.

  1. Poor quality product. If what you buy is not from a reputable company then the label and the lab analysis may not match and that means you may be getting very little CBD. If you are purchasing CBD at a local gas station or salon then you are unlikely to be getting good quality products and you are setting yourself up for a lot of frustration.
  2. Dosing issues. You are not taking a high enough dose. If, for example, the CBD tincture says 500 mg on the front and you are taking half a dropper daily, then you are only getting 8 mg (that is not a high dose). You may need the full dropper or two droppers which will raise the total number of milligrams to 32. It takes a bit of flexibility to find what dose works for you since no two people are exactly alike.
  3. Intermittent Use. You are only taking the CBD product periodically. For your Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to be well-supported and to get those CB1 & CB2 receptors fired up, then you need to be consistent and take the CBD daily. Just like any other supplement or medication you take. Regular use increases the efficacy of the product and then you are getting the outcomes you want.
  4. Time. Maybe you got the results you sought within a week or two. But, for many, it may take a few months of changing the number of milligrams per day, changing to another high-quality brand, changing the delivery system (e.g. from a capsule to a liquid) or simply giving your body the time to boost your ECS and reduce systemic inflammation which underlies so many health concerns. Many people walk into a CBD store frustrated with all the medications and therapies they have already tried. If you have experienced a health issue for many years then it behooves you to give CBD at least a few months or more to get you to a place of good health.

Of course, talking to someone with knowledge of the ECS, explaining Certificates of Analysis (COA’s) and discussing how each product works in your body is the key to success. CBD is an amazing supplement that works for so many people. How great would it be if you were one of them?

The Best Way to Take CBD

The Best Way to Take CBD

It turns out that there is no one way or one product that works for all people. So it behooves every individual to look at a wide range of options to make the best decision for themselves. There are four main delivery systems — vapes, liquids, capsules/gelcaps, and topicals.

Vaping is a very fast way to get CBD into your body through your lungs — around a15-minute activation time. This method makes the CBD more bioavailable to your body. Liquids/Tinctures need to be held under your tongue for at least 20-60 seconds and then you may swallow. With the help of the mucous membranes and capillaries these products activate in your body in about a half-hour because this method bypasses your digestive system. Capsules/Gelcaps/Tablets need to go through your digestive system and will take about an hour or possibly two depending on how well-functioning your liver processes supplements. These three options really work on you systemically whereas topicals are working on the targeted areas where you either have pain or a skin issue.

After you have made a decision about which type of product you want to try then it comes down to taste and price. It is always good to sample a drop or two of different tinctures so that you know if you are happy with how they taste. Some products are unflavored and some have added essential oils or sweeteners to make the liquid more palatable.

Sometimes you need to take a product for a few months before you know for certain that it is doing the job you want it to do. If you’re trying to reduce systemic inflammation it is not something that will happen overnight. Your Endocannabinoid System is begging you for CBD and depending on how long you have had the issue it may take a bit more time to see big results. Of course, some people start taking CBD and feel better immediately. Again, every person is different and the right product for you may not work the same for someone else. It is definitely an adventure in taking charge of your health and helping your body to get in balance. The good news is that there are so many wonderful options to choose from and at CBD Jubilee we are happy to help you find just the right product for you!

CBD Not Working For You ?

CBD Not Working For You ?

Excited about the CBD hype, yet you can’t seem to find the right CBD that works for you?

Searching for the right CBD product that helps your Endocannibinoid System (ECS) function at its best can take some time. Don’t give up too soon. When taking CBD, our target is to support your ECS and not just quash symptoms. Supplementing with CBD strengthens that receptor system so that you can lead a healthier and happier life. Research scientists have claimed that our ECS, is one of the most important physiologic systems involved in maintaining and establishing human health (Strause, 2017). Didn’t know you had an ECS? You are not alone!  We have only known about our ECS in the last 25 years. However, since there has been a rise in research in both CBD and THC and how it affects the body, they have identified an extraordinary multiplex network of cannabinoid receptors (CBr) expressed in cells of both the central and peripheral nervous system. In addition, animals have one too. Pretty cool right? Nevertheless, our top priority is to bolster our ECS and get our bodies back in balance.

There are many forms to take CBD; tinctures, oils, gel caps, edibles, water, vapes, etc.  Everyone is different so it may take some time to play around to see what works best for you. Not sure what brand? Do some research on your own and then come in and talk to us. We are here to educate you about CBD, how it works in your body and the many different options available. Make sure you are getting the best quality CBD. Most, if not all CBD companies will have their Certificates of Analysis (COA) on their website so you can see exactly what you are putting into your body. Here at CBD Jubilee, we provide the cleanest and safest CBD lines on the market. Everything we carry is non-GMO, third-party lab-tested and we’ve tried it ourselves. Our top brands are Bluebird Botanicals, Hemplucid, CBD Living, Medterra and Select CBD. These are our best selling brands and people come back for them because they WORK. If you are still hesitant, stop on by and let us provide you with the knowledge and support your need.

Spring into Wellness with CBD

Spring into Wellness with CBD

As the temperatures start to warm up it inspires us to get outside and move our bodies. We have to take it somewhat easy at the beginning or we risk pulled muscles, sprains, or significant injuries that come from doing too much too soon.

Therefore, no matter how easy you exercise — there are small aches & pains that come with using muscles that may have been inactive for a while. CBD has amazing anti-inflammatory properties that work so well on those sore muscles. Topicals come in many different forms: creams, salves, roll-ons, patches, lotions, oils, and more. No matter which one you choose the purpose is the same: work on the targeted area that is causing you pain or stiffness.

Many CBD Topicals include additional healing ingredients such as the homeopathic remedy Arnica Montana, anti-inflammatory herbs like ginger and turmeric, or essential oils that calm like lavender. When you are choosing the right product for you it helps to think about what consistency you like and if you want it to be scented or not. Some people really like the cooling sensation of menthol and others prefer unscented products. For ease of use, many people like roll-on topicals to get to those hard-to-reach places. You will also need to decide what potency you want to use which could vary from 100 mg to 1000 mg of CBD. Some products are broad-spectrum and some are full-spectrum, too.

Recent studies are being conducted at many research institutions and hospitals to determine the efficacy of CBD topicals. There is so much more we can learn about the best way to use topicals and how they are absorbed into our bloodstream. What we know at CBD Jubilee is that our customers are getting the relief they need and are now able to move with more ease and not spend their day consumed by pain. The great thing about the many CBD topical options is that you can use them as many times a day as needed to get you the relief you are seeking. It is great to have such a wide variety of choices because each person has their own preferences. Pair a topical with a CBD liquid or capsule and then you can address your pain both systemically and topically.
